Photographer Dave Wyatt's research and thoughts about photography
Not posted anything for a while so thought I would make a quick mention of the work of David Robinson -another photographer I knew when I was living in London. His work on the leisure landscape is interesting especially in light of my own recent work and comes firmly out of the tradition of contemporary documentary within Britain and Ireland. Anyway, have a look and buy one of his books! I particularly like his Lee Valley leisure work -incredibly quiet images that speak volumes more than the excessive desire for decisive moments I keep seeing in work recently (granted, mainly through my research into multimedia for my Master’s)
