Fake Tilt-Shift

Just cos I was in need of a break from my MA stuff I had a bit of a tinker in Photoshop with one of my recent test images.  Sort of relates to our Ethical code research, is this an ethical manipulation?

I would suggest that it is ethically fine in my book, however a complete cop out when compared to capturing images correctly in camera in the first instance.  If this is the kind of effect a photographer is looking for just go out and either get a really expensive Tilt-Shift lens for your digital SLR or go for the far cheaper and much higher quality and flexible solution of getting a large format camera.

As always, the image is ©Dave Wyatt 2008 so no stealing!  Send me an email if you want to use anything be it commercially, editorially or in a blog :)
