Photographer Dave Wyatt's research and thoughts about photography
Whilst having a think about methodologies for my project on China’s New Wealthy I keep coming back to the idea of shooting large format or at the very least medium format to slow the process of photographing down and producing work of a more subtle style than most 35mm style digital approachs allow for.
Walker Evans, Robert Adams, Joel Sternfeld, Michael Wolf are all photographers who have shot large format in styles that could be a good inspiration for this work.
